Management of State-Owned Companies Discussed

A consultation was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during which issues related to the ownership policy of state-owned and minority-owned companies were discussed.

The target scope of the policy, the general picture of companies with state participation, ownership shares, and management approaches were presented. It was noted that the key objectives of the state policy are to ensure effective management and establish an accountable and transparent system.

During the discussion, further work and steps in these directions were clarified. The importance of aligning the legislative framework with the SOE policy was also emphasized.

Prime Minister Pashinyan stressed the need to increase management efficiency in the aforementioned companies and instructed to revise the policy, taking into account the problems and proposals presented during the discussion.
