Man Missing for 3 Days Found Dead in Jermuk

On October 2, at 8:35 PM, the crisis management center of the Vayots Dzor regional rescue department received an alert that a citizen was lost in the area called "Pirkyasi Forest" in the city of Jermuk; the help of rescuers was needed. This was reported by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

One combat crew from the fire-rescue squad of the regional rescue department left for the scene. As a result of a three-day search, the citizen's body was found in the water at the dam of the "Jermuk-1" small HPP. Rescuers who arrived at the scene removed the body from the water and brought it to the vehicle transporting the deceased.

An unmanned aerial vehicle was used during the search operations; rescuers, police officers, and citizens were involved in the work.
