Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a message of condolence on the death of Guzh Manukyan.

"Armenian theatrical art has suffered an irreversible loss: the renowned master of theater and cinema, People's Artist of the RA Guzh Manukyan, has passed away. He shaped the image of an actor for whom art was a way of being. His performances were always characterized by deep thoughtfulness, with the precision to fully reveal the character's spiritual world. Guzh Manukyan saw a natural, unbreakable link between theater and cinema and was able to maintain the integrity of his thinking and artistic dignity in both worlds. On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and myself, I express my deepest condolences to Guzh Manukyan's family, relatives, and the thousands of fans of his art. The characters he created in theater and cinema will continue to live on our screens and in our memory, as a testament to high-class art and dedication."
