Lynx Found in Shirak Province Relocated to Yerevan

A lynx discovered in one of the communities of Shirak province has been moved to the capital. The process was under the attention of the Ministry of Environment.

As reported by the Ministry's press secretary, Ani Hakobyan, all necessary actions were taken "to ensure the animal's safety and to move it to a place as close as possible to its natural environment."

Specialists from relevant agencies and public organizations were involved in the process. It later became known that the animal is already in Yerevan, in a corresponding center. The ministry's spokesperson announced this, thanking the public for their attention and care.
