Lavrov and Araghchi Discuss Regional, Bilateral Agenda

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, and his counterpart from the Islamic Republic of Iran, Abbas Araghchi, had a telephone conversation. This was reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry. It is noted that the conversation took place at the initiative of the Iranian side.

The heads of the foreign policy departments of the two countries exchanged views on current issues on the bilateral and regional agenda. No other details of the conversation are yet reported.
