Kyiv Govt Building Hit by Iskander-K Missile, Not Shahed

On September 7, Russian forces struck the Ukrainian government building not with a "Shahed," but with an "Iskander-K" cruise missile, according to Ukrainian sources.

An analysis of the debris revealed that the Cabinet of Ministers building was hit on September 7 by a 9M727 missile from the "Iskander" complex.

Its 450 kg warhead did not detonate, so the consequences were less significant than they could have been. The fire on the upper floors was caused by fuel from the missile's tanks, local media outlets noted.
