King Charles' Subtle Ukraine Plea to Trump at Banquet

In a speech by King Charles III that carefully avoided any mention of geopolitics, a passing reference to Ukraine on Wednesday evening, though insignificant, was conspicuous. CNN wrote about this. "In two world wars, we fought together to defeat the forces of tyranny," Charles told Donald Trump at a dinner at Windsor Castle.
"Today, as tyranny once again threatens Europe, we and our allies are together supporting Ukraine to deter aggression and ensure peace." This was a notable, albeit subtle, reminder to Donald Trump that America's participation in the West's efforts to contain Russia remains a necessary and urgent requirement.
However, it is not clear whether this signal will reach its target.
Instead, Trump, during his toast at the same banquet, did not say a word about the ongoing conflict. Experts do not rule out that the US President and the UK King nevertheless talked about the ongoing war in Ukraine during the feast. However, it is unlikely that details on this topic will become known unless Trump himself decides to tell or write about it in the coming days.
