Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan to Be Europe's Main Oil Suppliers

Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan will play a central role in oil supplies to Europe. This conclusion was published in an OPEC report.

According to the forecast, exports of crude oil and condensate to Europe will remain stable at around 1.6 million barrels per day until 2050. "Despite the fact that this is significantly less than the volumes when Russian oil was supplied to the EU without hindrance, this figure emphasizes the growing strategic importance of alternative suppliers from the Caspian region, primarily Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan," the report states.
