7.7 Magnitude Earthquake Hits off Kamchatka, Tsunami Warning

A 7.7 magnitude earthquake has occurred off the coast of Kamchatka, there is a tsunami threat, Governor Vladimir Solodov reported.

According to the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences, tremors of varying intensity were felt in separate parts of the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Vilyuchinsky, and Yelizovo districts with an intensity of up to six points.
