"It's a Misunderstanding": Pashinyan on Ghukasyan's Statement

I think that we should simply throw out those who make statements against the sovereignty of the Republic of Armenia from the political and public fields.

How? By political methods and all the methods that are applicable in a democratic country, and I am convinced that this will happen. We also have a problem with the election results, we know that bribes were distributed there. We must have mechanisms to exclude such cases in the future.

I think that it is a misunderstanding that will be corrected in due course: both the phenomenon, the statement, and the author. No official in Armenia, even a local government one, can cast doubt on the independence of the Republic of Armenia.

Let's recall that the topic refers to the statement of the mayor of Gyumri. He had stated that he is in favor of Armenia joining the Union State. "I will call him a Turkish-subject son of a dog who says that I am wrong to say that the RA should form a union with the RF," Ghukasyan had noted.
