Israel Launches Airstrikes on Southern Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces launched an attack on several regions and cities in southern Lebanon early on the morning of August 31, using fighter jets, guided missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles. This was reported by local media.

At least eight air strikes were carried out on the Kharaj Ali al-Taher and ad-Dabsha districts of the city of Nabatieh.

The Israeli side justifies the attack by stating that there are underground shelters and ammunition depots of Shiite militias in the area.
