Israel Creates New Humanitarian Zone in Khan Younis

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has announced the creation of a new "humanitarian zone" in the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, as part of the intensification of operations to capture Gaza City. This is reported by the "Times of Israel".

According to the IDF statement, the zone will include field hospitals, water pipelines and desalination plants, as well as a constant flow of food, tents, medicine, and medical supplies, which will be coordinated through COGAT with the UN and other international organizations.

This announcement was made after the Israeli armed forces called on the civilian population to evacuate to the southern part of Gaza City.

In the northern part of Gaza, where, according to the IDF's claims, troops are trying to capture the remaining Hamas strongholds, ground military operations will be intensified.
