Israel Approves Plan for Ground Offensive in Gaza City

Israeli Defense Minister Katz has approved the plan presented by the Chief of the General Staff of the Israeli Army, Zamir, for an attack on Gaza City.
This operation will be called "Gideon's Chariots 2," which will be a continuation of the large-scale operation of the same name launched by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip at the beginning of May.
As part of this plan, a call-up of reservists is planned. According to the media, about 60,000 reservists will be called up. In addition, humanitarian preparations have been approved, which are necessary for the evacuation of the city's residents to the south of the enclave at the start of the operation. "After the completion of this operation, Gaza will change its appearance and will no longer be the same," Katz said.
It should be recalled that a few days ago, Israel announced its plans to take control of the northern part of Gaza with its armed forces. On this basis, it called on the residents of Gaza to move from the northern part to the southern part, promising to provide certain conditions for this.
