Israel Strikes Yemen, Reportedly Kills Houthi Military Chief

Israel has carried out airstrikes on a facility of the Houthi rebel group in the capital of Yemen, Sanaa.

Israeli sources are reporting that the head of the Houthi military staff and several leading members of the extremist movement have been killed.

Prior to this, the Defense Forces reported shooting down a drone launched by the rebels towards Israel.

The Trump administration had announced an agreement with the Houthis to cease airstrikes in exchange for not attacking ships. However, the rebels have stated that the agreement does not include a cessation of attacks on targets related to Israel.
