Russian Iskander Missile Found with Western Components

The "Iskander" missile that struck the Ukrainian government building turned out to be equipped with imported parts. According to Vladyslav Vlasiuk, the authorized representative for sanctions policy, the missile contained about 35 parts of American production, as well as one Japanese, one British, and one Swiss part, five Belarusian, and 57 Russian-made parts. During the attack, the warhead did not detonate; only the fuel burned.

"This is another proof that the Russian military-industrial complex relies on smuggling and circumventing sanctions. Without Western components, 'high-precision' strikes would be impossible," the Kyiv representative stated.
