Iranian President Congratulates Armenia on Independence Day

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has sent separate congratulatory messages to the President and Prime Minister of Armenia on the occasion of Independence Day. This is reported by Iranian media.

In his congratulatory message to President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Pezeshkian emphasized that the two peoples of Iran and Armenia, having an ancient and deep history, civilization, and culture, have lived side by side since ancient times and have strong ties and interests.

He expressed hope that thanks to the will of the leaders of the two countries, the process of deepening and developing relations will continue based on a strategic vision and goals based on common interests.

In his congratulatory message to Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, the President also noted that in recent years, relations between Iran and Armenia have shown dynamics in the political, economic, and cultural spheres, and stated: "I hope that thanks to the will of the leaders of the two countries and the use of the rich existing opportunities for the development of cooperation, this process will continue to achieve strategic goals and to strengthen peace and stability in the region."
