Iran Ready for Nuclear Talks if US Shows "Respect"

Iran is ready to resume nuclear negotiations with the United States if they are conducted in an atmosphere of full respect. This was stated by Kamal Kharrazi, an adviser to Iran's supreme leader, in an interview with CNN.

According to him, the first step to resume negotiations must be taken by the American side.

"They must take the first step to show that they are ready to cooperate with us on the terms we have set. It must be based on equality and mutual respect," Kharrazi emphasized.

He also touched upon the position of US President Donald Trump.

"Unfortunately, President Trump does not believe in diplomatic intervention, but prefers to use force to achieve his goals," the official concluded.
