Iran Launches Large-Scale Naval Drills in Gulf of Oman

Iran is conducting large-scale naval exercises in the Gulf of Oman and the Indian Ocean, Tasnim reports. The main phase of the "Sustainable Power 1404" exercises began on August 21.

Various long-range sea-launched cruise missiles, including the "Nasir" and "Ghadir," were fired from land and from naval vessels. The exercises involve Navy ships and submarines, aviation, coastal missile bases, and electronic warfare units. This is Iran's first large-scale exercise since the war with Israel.
