Iran FM Condemns 'Snapback' in Call with EU's Kallas

On the evening of August 29, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Coordinator of the JCPOA Joint Commission, Kaja Kallas, had a phone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi.

During the conversation, Araghchi condemned the illegal and unfounded action of the three European countries, emphasizing that this step increases doubts about their true intentions towards Iran and further complicates the pursuit of a diplomatic path.

The Iranian Foreign Minister stressed that the IRI will take measures in response to the provocative and inappropriate action of the three European countries.

During the conversation, Kaja Kallas reiterated the need to find a diplomatic solution and expressed her readiness to contribute to the promotion of diplomacy and dialogue. She also proposed to continue contact and consultations between the parties for this purpose.
