Iran Slams Europe for Following Trump's "Wrong" Strategy

Europe is acting incorrectly by following Donald Trump's strategy. This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, emphasizing that Tehran is open to diplomacy and the signing of a new agreement on the nuclear program. The condition is that the sanctions must be lifted, reports Mehr.
"At one time, Europe was a restraining force that sought to curb a warmongering America with maximum goals in our region, but today it tolerates Washington's disorders," Araghchi wrote in an article published in The Guardian.
To recall, at the end of August, Great Britain, France, and Germany, or the "E3," announced that they had activated the "snapback" process of UN sanctions against Iran.
This mechanism was created to punish for a significant non-fulfillment of obligations under the 2015 nuclear agreement, which was signed by Iran, the E3, the US, China, and Russia. Considering that Iran has violated the agreements, the European countries announced that they are activating the sanctions mechanism.
"This is a most serious miscalculation, which will inevitably lead to opposite consequences," noted Iran's chief diplomat.
