"Invisible Voices": Translators Celebrate Their Professional Day

They build bridges between languages, cultures, and people. We hear world leaders through their voices, but they often remain off-camera. International Translators' Day was celebrated at the Matenadaran, and on this occasion, the EU Ambassador to Armenia, the UN Resident Coordinator, and the best specialists in the field came to congratulate the simultaneous interpreters and celebrate their professional holiday. Who are these people, these invisible voices, thanks to whom the world becomes understandable, and how do they celebrate their professional day? Hasmik Arakelyan spoke with them.
