Protests have broken out in Indonesia over unemployment and low wages, reports Bloomberg.
In Makassar, the regional parliament building was burned; in Jakarta, police stations and buses were set on fire. In one week, at least three people have died, and dozens have been injured.
The country's president, Prabowo Subianto, even canceled his planned trip to the SCO summit in China to personally monitor the situation. The police and army have been ordered to strictly suppress "anarchic actions."
