India to Join Russia-Belarus 'West-2025' Military Drills

India has decided to join the Russian-Belarusian "West-2025" military exercises. Moreover, India is participating not just as an observer. This was reported by The Times. The Indian Ministry of Defence announced that they have sent 65 military personnel to the exercises, including fighters from one of the army's most respected units, the Kumaon Regiment.
The Indian defense ministry informed that the military personnel will participate in joint drills, tactical exercises, and certain weapons handling exercises with their Russian counterparts.
The Times called this move by India "crossing a red line."
It should be recalled that the strengthening of relations between Russia and India began during the customs war declared by Trump. India, which was traditionally among the US allies, contrary to that fact, also found itself in the crosshairs of the new White House leader's policy. This led to a certain cooling in India-US relations, in contrast to which Russia-India relations began to warm.
