India Denies Blocking Azerbaijan's SCO Membership Bid

India has denied reports that it blocked Azerbaijan's membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation during the recent summit in Tianjin, China.

The Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified that the impossibility of admitting Azerbaijan and Armenia as member states was due only to time constraints.
