The Food Safety Inspectorate Body reports that within the framework of state control, the FSIB has conducted laboratory tests of wheat batches imported from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan at the "Republican Center for Veterinary-Sanitary and Phytosanitary Laboratory Services" SNCO, which is under its subordination.
The tests were carried out in three directions:
Phytosanitary tests, in accordance with the requirements of "On Ensuring Plant Quarantine in the Eurasian Economic Union," approved by the decision No. 318 of the Customs Union Commission of June 18, 2010.
Safety indicator tests, in accordance with the requirements of the Customs Union's technical regulation "On the Safety of Grain" 015/2011.
Quality indicator tests, in accordance with the requirements of the GOST 9353-2016 "Wheat. Technical Specifications" standard.
Test Results
As a result of entomological, phytopathological, and weedological research conducted during the phytosanitary tests, no quarantine harmful organisms were found.
Within the framework of safety indicator tests, toxic elements (heavy metals), pesticides, mycotoxins, and radioactivity were examined. As a result, no deviations from the maximum permissible concentrations were recorded.
Laboratory tests of quality indicators are still in progress; the results will be published as soon as they are ready.
