Illegal Logging Thwarted in Ijevan; Driver Arrested

In Ijevan, municipal police officers stopped a "GAZ-66" truck for transporting illegal timber. The driver did not present the corresponding document.

The truck was moved to the forestry enterprise warehouse; it was found that the 6 cubic meters of timber were from beech, willow, and hornbeam trees. The driver has been arrested, and the preliminary investigation is ongoing.
