Hyundai and Electric Car Collide, Overturn in Yerevan

Today, November 23, a car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 12:00 PM, on the road section leading from Ashtarak Highway to Yeghvard Highway, near the overpass, a Hyundai Sonata and a BYD electric car collided. This is reported by Shamshyan.com.

According to preliminary information, there are no casualties as a result of the accident.

An on-duty team of Yerevan's 1-03 ambulance service arrived at the scene, but the drivers refused medical assistance, stating that they were not injured.

Patrol officers from the 1st company of the 4th battalion of the Yerevan city regiment of the Patrol Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Police promptly arrived, led by regiment commander Andranik Isakhanyan, battalion commander Arsen Stepanyan, and company commander Gegham Yepremyan. The area was cordoned off by the patrol officers.

Documents regarding the accident are being drawn up at the 4th battalion of the Patrol Service Yerevan city regiment, where the identities of the car owners and drivers are being clarified.

As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, as a result of the collision, the electric car overturned and ended up in the middle of the road, while the Hyundai flipped upside down.
