Police Troops Commander Hayk Babayan Dismissed by President

By a decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia, Major General Hayk Babayan has been dismissed from the post of Commander of the Police Troops of the RA, Deputy Chief of Police.
"Based on the Prime Minister's proposal, in accordance with Article 133, Part 1 of the Constitution, as well as Article 13, Part 4 of the Law 'On Service in the Police' and Article 40, Part 1, Clause 2 of the Law 'On Military Service and the Status of a Serviceman':
To dismiss Hayk Babayan from the post of Commander of the Police Troops of the Republic of Armenia, Deputy Chief of Police, effective October 31, 2025," the decree states.
It should be recalled that Babayan was appointed Commander of the Police Troops of Armenia, Deputy Chief of Police, on November 16, 2020.
