The Hamas movement has officially announced the end of the war and the establishment of a "permanent ceasefire" regime. This was stated by a high-ranking representative of the organization, Khalil al-Hayya, noting that the agreement reached puts an end to the prolonged bloodshed.
According to him, the agreement, which was reached with the support of international mediators—Qatar, Egypt, Turkey, and the US administration—includes several key points. In particular, it is planned to fully open the "Rafah" crossing in both directions, which is of vital importance for the population of Gaza. In addition, all Palestinian women and children will be released from Israeli prisons.
Al-Hayya emphasized that Hamas has received "clear guarantees" from the mediating countries and Washington, which confirm the complete cessation of military operations. This agreement opens the way for the establishment of long-awaited peace and stability in the region, inspiring hope that the parties will adhere to their commitments.
US President Donald Trump has welcomed the agreement reached between the parties. The White House noted that this is an important step towards easing tensions in the Middle East and peacefully resolving the conflict.
