Gulf Allies to Back Trump's Gaza Plan, Even Without Hamas

According to Bloomberg, allies of US President Donald Trump in the Persian Gulf countries are inclined to push forward his proposed plan for Gaza, even if Hamas rejects it. This is reported by informed sources, indicating a change in the strategy of regional players.
Key regional actors are currently actively developing a strategy for a "day after" scenario for the Palestinian enclave. Their main goal is to limit Hamas's influence in post-war Gaza, while at the same time hoping that the Iran-backed group will eventually give its consent. Several important factors underlie this decision. First, regional players seek to contain the instability that could threaten their ambitious economic initiatives, such as Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030" program. The continuation of the war and the risks of its spread are a direct threat to the long-term development plans of these countries.
On the other hand, the leaders of the Persian Gulf countries are also responding to pressure from their own citizens. The deepening humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the demands to end the war are forcing them to take more decisive steps towards resolving the conflict.
As one Gulf official noted, the plan proposed by Trump is "the best since the beginning of the war," and according to him, "no one is ready to miss this opportunity." This indicates that key players in the Arab world view Trump's initiative as a real opportunity to end the bloodshed and lay new foundations for stability in the region, even if they have to act without Hamas's consent.
