Grigoryan Presents Developments in Armenia-Azerbaijan Normalization

On October 28, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, received the delegation led by the Deputy Managing Director for Eastern Europe and Russia of the European External Action Service, Audronė Perkauskienė, and the Director for Eastern Neighbourhood and Institutional Development of the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission, Adrienn Kiraly.

The Secretary of the Security Council welcomed the delegation's visit to Armenia and emphasized the importance of the RA-EU partnership based on common values.

At the request of the members of the delegation, Armen Grigoryan presented the joint declaration signed in Washington on August 8, the wide economic opportunities that will be available as a result of the unblocking of regional communications, and the latest developments in the process of normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations.

During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on the agenda of bilateral cooperation and discussed current programs.
