The Grigoryan-Overchuk meeting took place in the Government

A meeting was held in the Government between the co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation, RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and RF Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk. This is reported by the government.
After a private conversation, a discussion in an extended format took place, within the framework of which the progress of the implementation of the agreements of the protocol of the 23rd session of the intergovernmental commission and the agenda items of Armenia-Russia bilateral cooperation were addressed.
At the beginning of the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan thanked the RF Deputy Prime Minister for the quick response and support in the matter of importing grain from Russia to Armenia through the Verkhni Lars checkpoint.
From the perspective of expanding interstate relations between Armenia and Russia, Mher Grigoryan and Alexey Overchuk mutually emphasized the importance of carrying out joint work in the spheres of trade and economy, transport, energy, and customs. Cooperation within the framework of the EAEU was also touched upon.
The Deputy Prime Ministers of the RA and the RF emphasized the importance of unblocking regional communications within the framework of full respect for the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, jurisdiction, and reciprocity of countries.
