Grigoryan, NATO Rep Discuss Armenia-NATO Cooperation

The Secretary of ahe Security Council of the RA, Armen Grigoryan, received the delegation led by the NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for Women, Peace and Security, Irene Fellin.

The Office of the Security Council reports that Grigoryan presented indicators regarding women involved in governance and decision-making processes in Armenia, emphasizing that the RA government is taking active steps to expand their involvement in the security sector as well.

Both sides stressed the importance of women's participation and their voices being heard in policy-making, negotiations, and security issues. During the meeting, the parties also touched upon the agenda of RA-NATO bilateral cooperation and current programs.
