Grigoryan, Kvien Discuss Washington Agreements

On August 22, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USA to the RA, Kristina Kvien. This was reported by the Office of the Security Council.

The interlocutors exchanged views and noted with satisfaction the agreements reached in Washington in the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Reference was also made to the unblocking of regional communication routes, within which the Secretary of the Security Council emphasized that the unblocking will take place within the framework of full respect for the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, jurisdiction, and reciprocity of the countries.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed the agenda of bilateral relations between Armenia and the USA and the further steps to be taken.
