Grigoryan vs. Aleksanyan: Fiery Exchange Over Gyumri Politics

The authorities' hearts want blood, they want a "Parakar 2," and they want it to be between the family members of Vardan Ghukasyan and Martun Grigoryan. This was stated by MP Martun Grigoryan in a conversation with journalists.

"The fact that, in my assessment, this scenario is expected in Gyumri, they will try to create some situations in Gyumri and drag us into a criminal vendetta, is clearly visible. We must be careful, we must be vigilant," noted Martun Grigoryan.

"Civil Contract" MP Vahagn Aleksanyan responded to this statement by Grigoryan in Parliament: "You say that the CC MPs want blood in Gyumri, and, presumably, you are referring to my words, in which I say that Vardan Ghukasyan or his clan killed your friends, and you voted for him. I say it, but that doesn't mean I want blood. On the contrary, it means I don't want blood. You accused us, saying you want to take power in Gyumri through Vardanik, but you are the ones who went and elected Vardan Ghukasyan as mayor. You are the ones who elected a mayor who brings blood. You know better than I that the most sensational murders in Gyumri, almost all of them, were committed when Ghukasyan was mayor," stated Vahagn Aleksanyan.
