Germany to Create NSC, France Preps Hospitals for Conflict

The German government has adopted a bill on the creation of a national security council, German media report. The body is intended to coordinate important issues regarding integrated security policy, develop a strategy and provide strategic forecasting, conduct a joint assessment of the situation, and thus form a common political position.
The French Ministry of Health is preparing medical workers for the mass reception of wounded in the event of a conflict. Le Canard enchaîné reports this. The preparation is to be completed by March 2026.
As a reminder, in recent months, European countries, led by Germany and France, have been more actively sounding the alarm about possible Russian actions against Europe. On the basis of preventing this, a number of initiatives have been implemented both with the participation of members of the common European family and by individual states.
