Georgian PM Cancels Meeting with OSCE Chairperson

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has canceled a meeting with Finnish Foreign Minister and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Elina Valtonen. "Due to participation in yesterday's illegal rally and false statements, the Prime Minister has canceled the scheduled meeting with the Finnish Foreign Minister," the statement said.

It should be recalled that the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office had arrived on a regional visit. On October 14-15, she was in the Republic of Armenia. The visit to Azerbaijan was canceled, essentially at Baku's initiative. The Georgian Prime Minister's demarche became another failure within the framework of Elina Valtonen's regional visit.
