Georgia Busts International Drug Trafficking Ring

A drug supply channel has been liquidated in Georgia. This is reported by Georgian sources. Three people have been arrested. One of the detainees is a citizen of Russia, the second - of Azerbaijan.

The third person is a local resident who was previously convicted of drug-related crimes. During his arrest in Gori, up to 0.5 kg of drugs were seized from him.

The next batch, about 2 kg of methadone, was hidden in a truck and a gearbox and was supposed to be delivered to the group members. According to official sources, the supply channel has been completely prevented.
