During the preliminary investigation of criminal proceedings initiated in the Gegharkunik regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee on charges of causing property damage through fraud, abuse of trust, or other illegal means, apparent factual data were obtained that the company did not transfer the funds stipulated by the contract to the educational foundation and the governor's office.
Specifically, according to a contract signed in 2018 between the former governor of Gegharkunik, the company, and the educational foundation, diagnostic medical services were provided to the region's population through computed tomography.
According to the contract, the remaining 50% of the proceeds from more than 9 computed tomography examinations per day was to be allocated to the foundation, and 30% to the governor's office to be directed towards solving the problems of the region's healthcare system.
During the preliminary investigation, it was revealed that since 2018, the company has not transferred 91,049,534 AMD to the educational foundation, as well as to the Gegharkunik governor's office, which has been recovered.
The preliminary investigation of the criminal proceedings is ongoing.
