School Principal Anush Hambardzumyan Placed Under House Arrest

The court has applied house arrest and a ban on absence as a measure of restraint against Anush Hambardzumyan, the director of the Geghakert school, the Anti-Corruption Committee told media outlets. It should be noted that we had previously reported that a criminal proceeding was initiated regarding a case of violating the ban on charity.

As a reminder, on November 9, information was spread that Anush Hambardzumyan, the "Civil Contract" party-affiliated director of the Geghakert school in the Vagharshapat community, had been arrested. Later, the Anti-Corruption Committee, in response to media inquiries, stated that a criminal proceeding had been initiated regarding a case of violating the ban on charity.
