Gallup Poll: 59% of Armenians Oppose Syunik Road

To the question "How do you assess the provision of a road through Syunik?", 4% of citizens answered "completely positive," 18.1% "rather positive," 11.3% "rather negative," and 47.6% "completely negative," while 5.6% found it difficult to answer.

The results of the latest poll were presented by Arman Navasardyan, the director of the Armenian office of Gallup.

According to the speaker, almost 55% of respondents do not believe that the Washington agreement will contribute to the establishment of long-term peace in the region.

The latest survey also included questions regarding the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia. 12.2% noted that they would vote in favor of amending the Constitution if it leads to real and long-term peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

According to the organizers, the survey was conducted via telephone calls with the participation of 1,101 citizens.
