Funeral Held for Slain Parakar Mayor; Minister Attends

The funeral service for the murdered community head Valodya Grigoryan is taking place at the Palace of Culture and Youth in Parakar. The Minister of Internal Affairs, Arpine Sargsyan, also participated in the funeral ceremony.

In response to journalists' questions, Sargsyan noted that active work is underway within the framework of the case. She promised to inform the public in case of news.

It should be noted that wreaths were sent to Valodya Grigoryan's funeral on behalf of the RA Prime Minister and the NA President.

To recall, on September 23, at around 23:50, shots were fired in Merdzavan; Parakar community head Valodya Grigoryan and his friend, police operative Karen Abrahamyan, were killed, and one person was hospitalized with injuries.
