Fugitive Ex-Official Found Dead in Armenian Consulate

Former fugitive official Boris Avagyan was found dead in the building of the Armenian consulate in St. Petersburg, a number of Telegram channels report. According to the disseminated information, Avagyan was found unconscious in the toilet, where he had been for about 50 minutes.

Earlier, Telegram channels reported that he had fled from the court, where a measure of restraint was to be chosen for him in the case of evasion of customs duties of more than 4.2 billion rubles.

Yesterday, information was spread that Avagyan was in the building of the Armenian consulate in St. Petersburg and was asking to be extradited to Armenia.
