From Budget 2026 to Sevan: Highlights from Gov't Meeting

The government approved the draft state budget for 2026, projecting revenues of 3 trillion 91 billion drams, the majority of which will come from tax receipts. As accompanying steps, programs for the protection of Lake Sevan, the development of border communities, and the expansion of online registration for legal entities were approved. The strategy for a green and sustainable economy, as well as the development of a circular economy concept, were also discussed. The budget and the programs will be debated in the National Assembly.
