Francophonie Games 2027: Armenian Delegation Meets in Paris

Chief of the Prime Minister's Staff Arayik Harutyunyan, who is on a working visit to Paris, met with Caroline St-Hilaire, Administrator of the International Organization of La Francophonie.

The interlocutors discussed the steps being taken and the progress of preparatory work for holding the Francophonie Games in Armenia in 2027, as well as future actions.

The Chief of the Prime Minister's Staff noted that the purpose of the visit is also to study Paris's experience in organizing the Olympic Games, which could be useful for holding the Francophonie Games at a high level.

Arayik Harutyunyan and Caroline St-Hilaire assessed the bilateral cooperation as effective and expressed confidence that the games in Armenia will be held properly and to the highest standard.

Issues related to the planned meeting of Culture Ministers of the member states of the International Organization of La Francophonie in Armenia were also touched upon.
