Four Whales Wash Ashore in Japan After Tsunami

After the earthquake in Japan, four whales washed ashore. The giant mammals were thrown ashore by a tsunami wave resulting from the earthquake off the coast of Kamchatka.

The incident occurred in southeastern Japan, near the city of Tateyama in Chiba Prefecture. They were photographed by a local resident who had come to check the height of the waves for surfing.
