Former Head of Armenia's State Revenue Committee Arrested

On the evening of August 7, Vardan Harutyunyan, the former chairman of the SRC, was arrested.

The Anti-Corruption Committee informed the media that a former high-ranking official of the SRC was arrested within the framework of a criminal proceeding being investigated by the Anti-Corruption Committee.

He is accused of illegal participation in entrepreneurial activities, anti-competitive activities, and money laundering.
