Firefighting Helicopter Crashes in France, Crew Safe

A firefighting helicopter crashed in northwestern France while extinguishing a fire in a residential building. It fell into a nearby pond. As reported by BFMTV television channel, citing the local prefecture, all crew members were able to evacuate on their own and were not injured.

The incident occurred on August 24 in the commune of Rosporden. The helicopter fell into a reservoir during a maneuver to collect water for firefighting.
