FIFA Fines Armenia for Portugal Match Violations

FIFA has fined the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA). This was reported by the official FIFA website. The FFA was fined due to violations that occurred during the World Cup qualifying match between Armenia and Portugal.

FIFA has fined the Football Federation of Armenia 12,000 Swiss francs. According to FIFA, during the Armenia-Portugal match, there was improper team conduct, breaches of order and security, invasion of the field or attempted invasion, and the use of firecrackers or other pyrotechnic objects.

As a reminder, the Armenia-Portugal match took place on September 6, 2025. The Armenian national team lost that match with a score of 0:5.
