Father Aram Defrocked

The Mother See reports that Father Aram has been defrocked for several reasons. The latter has his own explanations for some of the mentioned points. In a conversation with journalists, he stated that he does not intend to leave the monastery. In parallel, a draft law on amending the Law on Audiovisual Media is being discussed in the National Assembly. According to the opposition, they are preparing to suspend the public broadcasting of Shoghakat.
